Mission Statement
The mission of the San Bernardino Public Library Lifelong Learning Center is to provide adults 16 years and older opportunities to improve their basic life skills in an a non-threatening atmosphere so that they may become life-long learners and active community members.
Description
The Lifelong Learning Center provides tutoring in a small group setting for adults to improve their skills in basic literacy, English as a Second Language, Citizenship, and Computer assisted learning. Hours of operation vary to allow for the flexible schedules of today's adult. Classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 5:30pm The Lifelong Learning Center also offers Family Literacy to parents with low-literacy that have pre-school age children. After-school homework assistance is also provided at 2 sites within our library system.
