Whether you are a seasoned marketing expert or have no promotions skills at all, we have a place for you here at Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles - Philadelphia!

The job of the promotions team is to let the community know that Uhuru Furniture is the place to make donations and to shop for great items at great prices.

Uhuru Furniture is a project of the African People's Education and Defense Fund (APEDF.org). When you volunteer, you are a part of an organization and supporting programs for health, education and economic development of the black community.

We have opportunities working outdoors or indoors, on the computer, on the phone or meeting people in person. We have jobs that require minimal skills as well as more skilled jobs like web design. We need people with skills in social media, HTML, media, graphic design and more. You can also gain these skills by working with us. We also have a number of internships available.

Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles is located at 832 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19130. We hold volunteer orientations every Thursday night from 5-6pm on the second floor of our store. You can come into the store to sign up for the volunteer orientation, or you can give us a call at (215) 546-9616. You can also check out our blog uhurufurniturephilly.blogspot.com for new items and volunteer projects. We're open 6 days a week from 11am-6pm, every day except Monday!
