Are you a student with proficient keyboarding skills and looking to volunteer? Or are you retired and would like to help others using your skills? Or maybe your company allows you to volunteer during the month. Or maybe you just have time during the week and want to give back to others using your skills.
The Pacific South Coast Chapter of the National MS Society is in need of volunteers who can help us with a variety of data entry projects which will also include some We have short term and ongoing projects that need some attention. Can you help?
Some Duties May Include:
- Updating Service Providers in system.
- Entering Volunteers into our national data system.
- Entering event information into system.
- Entering event participants.
The Pacific South Coast Chapter services 51,500 people in Orange, San Diego, Imperial Counties & Hawaii with MS. Movement is intrinsic to who we are as humans. We live in a moving world. MS stops people from moving by interrupting the smooth movement of information through nerves. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society exists to help people move forward with their lives and to move us to a world free of MS.

The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to end the devastating effects of MS.
Description
Founded in 1946, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society supports more MS research, offers more services for people with MS, provides more professional education programs, and furthers more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world.
We do this through the extensive research we support to find the cause, cure and improved treatments of the disease; the comprehensive services we provide to people with MS and their families; the professional education programs we offer to assist health care providers better serve their MS patients; and through our advocacy efforts on state and federal levels to encourage public policies supportive of the needs of people with multiple sclerosis. This is why we at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society are here.
Volunteers are vital to the work of the National MS Society. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of talents and skills. There is only one requirement: to want to do something about MS NOW. Your valuable skills and fresh perspectives will make the Society a stronger and better organization. There are so many ways to contribute, whether through advocacy, programs, fund-raising or special projects. We can always use your help.
