Hospice Volunteers Bring Joy...

ORGANIZATION: Hospice of St. Francis

  • 26 people are interested

Hospice volunteers bring joy to the lives of terminally ill patients by visiting for one to four hours a week while their family members/caregivers get out for a much-needed break. Volunteers do NOT provide any hands-on care, so experience is not necessary. We provide extensive training into the Hospice Philosophy, volunteer guidelines, safety, communication, dementia care, and issues surrounding terminal illness. If you wish to give back, serve others, spread joy, please contact us for more information!
