Flexible time commitments! Do you have a talent you'd like to share with others? You will make a difference at PAI.

Our mission supports adults with developmental disabilities and provides skill building. We are looking for people who are willing volunteer on-site. We are flexible and respectful of your time; opportunities Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:00-2:30.

Volunteer with people:

  • Do you like to get out and about?
  • How about going to the theatre or the Science Museum?
  • Are you a chef or just trying to keep up with the food network? How about assisting with a cooking class?
  • Do you have a green thumb? We could use help in our gardens.
  • Are you a power shopper? Go shopping and share your skills.
  • Do you love reading out loud and creating interesting characters with your voice? We have a spot for you...

Have special skills?

  • Are you handy with woodworking or other tools? Make special adaptations.
  • Do you like to paint walls and trim? We could use help creating inviting spaces.
  • Can you make frames for custom art work?
  • Are you a theatre or music student who is looking for an appreciate audience?
  • Do you have great translation skills? Create documents in Hmong...
  • Do you have special skills in marketing or graphic design? We could use you help.

PAI is a nonprofit organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to engage individuals in meaningful participation and connection with the community. PAI operates four day program sites in the northeast metro that offer an array of services and opportunities, including art exploration, community outings, music and animal therapy, employment services, and much more!

PAI is all about people. We believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect. It is where persons with developmental disabilities are safe, inspired, empowered and engaged.

PAI has a wide variety of opportunities for volunteers. You will find a culture that’s diverse, team-oriented and focused on meeting the unique needs of participants. PAI is seeking persons who are hardworking, caring and passionate about helping other people. It is a fun and rewarding place to be!
