As we use the joy of flight to build confidence in children affected by health challenges, it's critical for us to capture the true essence of these moments. If you covet the written word, love the art of story telling, have a creative command of language, or simply love to write, then we need you. Watching a child find unbridled pride in flying a plane when only days before she was enduring chemotherapy, witnessing a mother's heart swell with sheer joy as her son with Muscular Dystrophy gets his flight wings pinned to his chest, or seeing a young lady wearing her late father's airline captain hat as she gets ready to fly....these are the stories we want to tell. Volunteers in this role will prepare social media posts and other pieces as needed describing Flight1 events and activities. Come build your portfolio while making a difference in a child's life!
