There are seniors in your neighborhood who are hungry. Make a difference in your community by delivering lunchtime meals to homebound seniors. The commitment is just one hour a week. All training and directions are provided. You use your own vehicle and we offer a $2/route gas stipend to help offset the cost.
Meals are delivered Monday-Friday starting between 10:30-11:00AM. The route takes just an hour or less and we can match you to seniors in your own neighborhood to minimize driving.
Volunteers are needed in: Downtown Savannah; Eastside Savannah; Carver Heights; Chatham Parkway; Wilmington Island; Tybee Island; Thunderbolt; Garden City; Pooler; Pt. Wentworth; Georgetown; Richmond Hill; Hinesville
