Our donations hotline is ringing off the hook, and we need your help! Our Donations Hotline Volunteers assist the Donations Dispatcher in answering donor phone calls, processing donations, scheduling donations, and other tasks as needed. This position requires experience in phone customer service, as well as comfort in running multiple computer programs at one time. Extensive training is provided for this position. Responsibilities: Answer donations hotline phone Follow donor information procedures to determine ability to pick up donations Provide donors with alternate solutions if the ReStore cannot pick up items Make confirmation calls for next-day pick ups Check and return voicemails Use Microsoft Access and Google Calendar to record donations and schedule pickups Conduct donor surveys Requirements: Past experience in customer service is a must Comfort in answering phones Ability to discern whether or not a donation is suitable for pickup (involves telling donors "no") Past experience utilizing a database program (Access, Citrix, Salesforce, etc) Ability to run multiple computer programs Critical thinking skills Self-sufficient, requiring little supervision Ability to work in a fast-paced environment After a 3-4 week "audition" period, a regular, long-term commitment is required When: One four hour shift per week: Mondays: 9am-1pm Tuesdays: 10am-2pm Fridays: 10am-2pm
