Meals on Wheels of San Antonio is looking for hard working kitchen assistants. This is an indirect and necessary activity that needs be accomplished each weekday. Volunteers will be assembling hot food plates and breakfast packs that will be delivered to home bound elderly, unable to prepare a meal for themselves.
As early as 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, volunteers are welcome to join our kitchen operation team. Duties will include: line, dish, clean-up, moving product and other assembly line work. A typical day ends at 12:00, noon.

Description
Meals on Wheels San Antonio was founded as Christian Senior Services in 1977 as a joint venture between St. John’s and Grace Lutheran Churches. Initially, the agency delivered eight meals daily to homebound seniors and established an adult activity center for five senior clients.
