The Neighborhood Resource Center's after school program starts with a home cooked sit down meal with our neighborhood kids. We do all of our cooking on site, with an emphasis on using fresh, natural and organic ingredients. We need adults and older teens to help set up/clean up and hang out with our youth during the meal to model good table manners, and create a safe and loving environment. Meals are served outside so there is also the opportunity to play outdoor games with kids who have finished eating.

The meals will be served Monday through Thursday from 2:30-3:30pm (with set up beforehand and clean up after). We would love volunteers that can commit to at least one day a week. You get to meet some awesome youth, and enjoy a delicious meal. Feel free to stay longer for other volunteer opportunites such as summer tutoring and assisting with classes like arts & crafts.

The summer lunch program begins June 22nd and runs through August 27th. An orientation will be required before the start of this program.
