Imagine the sound of thousands of people with jingle bells on their shoes running and walking through the streets of downtown Little Rock. The Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis is a fun-filled nationwide fundraising event consisting of a 5K run and a and 1 mile fun walk. Participants wear seasonal costumes, tie jingle bells to their shoelaces and take to the streets capturing the best of the holiday season. Each participant will receive a complimentary pair of jingle bells and a goody bag!
Volunteers:
Day of Event:
We need 25 volunteers the day of the event to help with setting up the event, registering participants, man food/beverage table and clean up.
Two weeks before the event:
We need 10 volunteers to help stuff goody bags days before the race. We have over 1300 goody bags to stuff.
One week before event:
We need 6 volunteers for three days to help man the race space. Participants come in to register for the race, pick up their numbers and t-shirts and team packet picket.
Two weeks before the event:
We need 5 volunteers to stuff race packets. Race packets include race map and information, safety pins and bells.

Description
For over 60-years the Arthritis Foundation, a nationwide non-profit organization has made exciting progress to make possible a better quality of life for the 50 million Americans and 300,000 children diagnosed with arthritis. Our efforts are centered on advancing research, advocating for change, public health and a wide range of services to help people stay active and be healthy.
Programs include: a Juvenile Arthritis (JA) welcome backpack program; JA camp; JA Family Day; and Information and tools to help people understand their diagnosis and mange life with arthritis to include: numerous brochures on dozens of topics, as well as books and DVDs are available.
