Help the 629,000 adults and 2900 children suffering from arthritis in Arkansas by donating your time at your local Arthritis Foundation office in Little Rock. Individuals will perform office tasks to support the delivery of programs and services. Office tasks include: packaging and mailing backpacks full of materials and comfort items for children newly diagnosed with juvenile arthritis; fulfilling literature requests; and data entry. Flexible schedule!

Description

For over 60-years the Arthritis Foundation, a nationwide non-profit organization has made exciting progress to make possible a better quality of life for the 50 million Americans and 300,000 children diagnosed with arthritis. Our efforts are centered on advancing research, advocating for change, public health and a wide range of services to help people stay active and be healthy.

Programs include: a Juvenile Arthritis (JA) welcome backpack program; JA camp; JA Family Day; and Information and tools to help people understand their diagnosis and mange life with arthritis to include: numerous brochures on dozens of topics, as well as books and DVDs are available.
