Volunteers are the heart and soul of Beaumont Hospice. They are essential in helping patients and families cope with emotional, socil, and spiritual challenges during the late stages of life. Volunteers may visit patients in their homes, hospitals, or nursing homes. Volunteers have the opportunity to reach out to patients in many unique and rewarding ways. During visits, volunteers may listen, talk with, play cards, or watch a movie together. By offering your presence and support, you can make a significant difference in how a person experiences the final stages of life.

We care for both adult and pediatric patients. You choose who you are comfortable visiting.

New Volunteer Trainings are held at various locations to accommodate applicants from all over our service area! Contact Mariam Haidous at Mariam.Haidous@beaumont.org to inquire when the next training will be held near you!
