Keep Oklahoma Beautiful, along with LG Electronics, Waste Management, Keep America Beautiful and the City of Oklahoma City is seeking volunteers for the upcoming eCycling Drop Off Event at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds on May 5, 2012 from 8 am - 5 pm.
Volunteers will be assisting with traffic control, conducting surveys and ensuring that everyone stays hydrated. Volunteers will NOT BE responsible for any heavy lifting!!
Shift A: 7 am - 12 pm
Shift B: 11:30 am - 5pm
Coffee and a snack will be provided for Shift A and lunch will be provided for everyone.
This event is open to all Oklahomans, so we are expecting to collect well over 200,000 pounds of electronics on May 5th.

Description
Throughout the year, Keep Oklahoma Beautiful has volunteer opportunities for individuals throughout Oklahoma. From March 1 - May 31, volunteer groups across the state participate in the Great American Cleanup. These groups are engaged in activities that will Pick Up, Plant Up, Paint Up and Fix Up their hometown.
In the fall, KOB accepts applications from groups as part of its Fresh Paint Days program. Groups that are selected will receive paint and a stipend to complete their project. Volunteers are needed to assist in completing the project.
