VOLUNTOURISM OPPORTUNITY IS KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR - PLEASE ANSWER THE INVITE!

Ride Idaho is a non-profit 7 day bicycling tour that carries riders and volunteers to smaller towns of Idaho to bring economic impact to those smaller communities while spotlighting some of the history and beauty of our state.

Our volunteer support is what makes our ride outstanding in comparison to others. Volunteers provide morale support to our cyclists while flashing an encouraging smile, answering questions, and of course giving the support at aid stops throughout their ride for that day.

All meals are provided. Camping is provided in area towns either at community parks, schools etc. RV's are welcome but may not have hook-ups at some of our more remote stops. Most evenings we have in camp live music to dance the night away!

Volunteer roles include rider check-in, rider rest support stops during the day, driving luggage trucks to the next stop, campsite set-up & support, loading/unloading baggage although area Boy Scout groups and or sports teams assist with this most of the time. We do our best to match volunteers with the role that best suits them.

Make someone's day by flashing them a smile and pointing them in the right direction, checking them in, or driving their luggage from town to town.

We do need a commitment for attendance to the full week. Please visit our website rideidaho.org for more information. You can contact us at ridaho@rideidaho.org with any questions and interest.

Come see some of Idaho's most scenic places as you vacation in Idaho - voluntourism at its best!

Mission Statement

Ride Idaho's primary goal is to provide a positive economic impact to Idaho's communities. We accomplish this goal by hiring community organizations to supply the bicycle tour with meals, entertainment and logistical needs. Ride Idaho also invests in community development projects such as city park benches, playground equipment, first responder rescue equipment, school athletic equipment and other enhancemet projects that the communites need.

Finally, Ride Idaho's remaining tenants are to promote healthy, active lifestyles and raise awareness of safe cycling. in 2011, we delivered 20 bikes, helmets, and locks for the Boys and Girls Club in Garden City, ID.

Ride Idaho is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. Come along for the ride!
