The Houston Food Bank cultivates a spirit of teamwork between volunteers and staff in order to provide the highest level of service to our community partners. Administrative volunteers are needed in all departments, so if you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to organize and balance multiple projects, consider sharing your talents with us. Description
Founded in 1982, the Houston Food Bank’s mission is to provide food for better lives. Houston Food Bank is a certified member of Feeding America, the nation’s food bank network, with a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. Houston Food Bank is America’s largest food bank in distribution, and leads hunger relief in 18 southeast Texas counties. We distribute fresh produce, meat and nonperishables and prepare nutritious hot meals for kids in our state-of-the-art Keegan Kitchen.
