Volunteers are at the core of American Stage Theatre Company, Tampa Bay's longest-running professional theatre company. Our mission, to reinforce the power of live theatre with high-quality productions that inspire and challenge a diverse audience, attracts volunteers of all backgrounds, ages, and experiences who are brought together by their passion for theatre and for serving their community. If you feel similarly, we have a wide range of available opportunities for you to get involved, where you can meet like-minded individuals and make friends along the way.

The following opportunities are always available:

• Ushers (ticket-taking, providing programs, assisting patrons to their seats)
• Concessions (cash sales, bartending)
• Mailings (labeling marketing documents for distribution)
• Administrative (filing, database entry, mailings)

Additionally, these opportunities are available at select times throughout the year:

• Saturday Morning Markets (spreading the word about American Stage)
• American Stage in the Park (outdoor production held every Spring)
• Event Preparation (decoration assembly, general preparation)
• Backstage (assist with productions--props, costumes, etc.)

If you're unsure where to start, we'll gladly help find you a position based on your interests and experiences. We take pride in having the best volunteers in the area, and would love to have you join us!
