We are looking for some help with the Second Annual Stafford County Agricultural Competitions, to be held during the 14th annual Stafford County Hartwood Days Festival. These competitions, currently for Poultry, Rabbits, and Goats, (but with room for expansion to other animals) will provide the winners for Stafford County, which will (hopefully) go on to the State Fair in September 2013.
The AG area team is extremely important and your assistance in working with one of these shows as a volunteer can be the difference between an event not happening, or the opportunity being provided for the county!
- Should not be afraid, or squeamish around animals, as the show may be for Goats, Sheep, Chickens, or Rabbits, and possibly Alpaca's & Horses.
- Should be personable, and able to communicate.
- Knowledge of, or experience in Agricultural or Horticultural settings is a plus.
- Will need to coordinate with the Agricultural Show Director in advance to learn the system, and do some Dry Runs/practices
