Form a small group of handy friends and help improve housing conditions for low-income homeowners in your community! Join PWC's annual Repair Affair spring volunteer event and provide home repairs and modifications that enable low-income, elderly and disabled residents to remain safely in their homes. Assemble a group of friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, or classmates with home repair skills. We ask that some or all volunteers in each group have experience in one of the following areas: Plumbing (faucets, laundry tubs, drain traps, toilets), Carpentry (ramps, stairs, decks, handrails, grab bars, drywall), Safety Repairs (smoke detectors, locks), Ladder Work (gutter cleaning and repair, sealing windows), Concrete (sidewalks, steps), and/or Electrical (switches, light fixtures, ceiling fans, doorbells, outlets).
