We are in need of a carpenter to finish building 2 small mini cabins in our feral cat habitat. The cabins are going to be insulated to keep our feral cats warm during the cold season. They are located inside a 1400 square foot metal building which is our feral cat habitat. These cabins are partly done because our long-term volunteer was deployed to Afganistan. We have all the materials to complete them and can provide guidance as to how to go about it but we don't have any manpower to help. If you are interested, please email us. Thanks.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to rescue animals by providing a place of refuge and protection and to arrange for good homes when possible. We are committed to helping those animals that have been abused, forgotten, over-bred, and generally overlooked.
Description
SAS is a no-kill cat sanctuary that began in 2003 as a result of two sisters finding a single stray black cat on the side of a freeway. Her name is Freeway and she is safe and being well taken care of. We cannot live with the fact that millions of innocent animals are being killed in U.S. shelters every year which includes approximately 500,000 in California. We have a passion for animals and are committed to saving as many as we can given the funds we receive through donations and using our own personal resources. We were approved for our nonprofit 501(c)(3) status in August 2005. Since that time we have been following our passion and keeping our commitment to all the animals that we rescue.
