ORGANIZATION: Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities

Share your expertise and passion to foster the difference you want to see in the community for people with disabilities. Through bi-monthly board meetings and quarterly committee meetings Board members create and oversee the organization's strategic plan, hire, and evaluate the CEO, help fundraise to ensure the organization's financial stability, oversee the programs offered, and approve and oversee the annual budget. We are seeking members who live in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.

We work with people with disabilities and family members to solve problems, identify opportunities for optimal learning and find creative ways to minimize "differences" and make the most of each person's abilities.
