Adopt-A-Stop of Greater Portland, Maine seeks able-bodied adult volunteers to maintain clean, safe bus stops in Portland and South Portland. The work especially requires a strong commitment to removing snow and ice after each snowstorm to provide access to the curb.

In cooperation with the volunteer coordinator, you'll be assigned to care for one or two stops over the course of a year.

This service is especially needed for seniors and disabled bus riders, who may have no other transportation option.
