Mission Statement
The American Red Cross of Montana is a chartered chapter of American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, which provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
Description
American Red Cross of Montana is your partner in helping mobilize people and resources when our neighbors need help during emergencies whether they are across the street, across the state, or around the world.
We've been your partner for over 100 years and we're there still-- whether we're sheltering the suddenly homeless, distributing blood products to hospitals, teaching lifesaving skills classes, or delivering emergency information between families and their service members.
We are one of 4 statewide Red Cross organizations and we provide services in each of our 56 Montana counties. We are guided by the Red Cross core principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality, and by a vision to serve as a beacon of hope in a time of crisis.
At the heart of the Red Cross is what lives in the hearts of us all: The desire to help change the life of another and make the greatest difference possible in our communities.
