Purpose

Responsible for providing accurate, timely and courteous services, support and assistance to the general public, volunteers and staff in accordance with established policies, procedures and practices on a flexible work schedule basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Willing to support the Red Cross Mission
  • Serves as a positive communication link to the general public, customers, volunteers and staff by greeting incoming patrons as well as answering phones and redirecting calls as necessary.
  • Provides information and referrals to general public.
  • Assisting with processing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Performs routine administrative/clerical tasks, i.e., message taking, tallying and filing.
  • Other duties may be assigned, particularly in support of the chapter during a disaster relief operation.

Serving communities and individuals of Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Ft Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Houston, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties.
