At this time, you are welcome to join the Alviso Teens Reach group and attend their monthly meetings. Please send an email to let us know of your interest and someone will get back with you.
Be part of a fun volunteer opportunity for teens between the ages of 13-18. Earn community service credit while supporting the library by assisting with library programs, fundraising, promotion, and representing the library's teen point-of-view. Attend our monthly meetings and have your say!
The following schools are near our area: Wilcox High School (Santa Clara), Santa Clara High (Santa Clara) and Don Callejon (K-8 in Santa Clara).
This position will provide one hour of community service credit per month by attending the required monthly meetings.

Description
Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
