Need Daily Bread Serving Groups
The Daily Bread program was established at the Christian Service Center in 1975 with a goal that no person in Central Florida would struggle with hunger. For 40 years, Daily Bread has offered a free nourishing noontime meal to anyone in the community who is hungry.
The Daily Bread Serving Group is responsible for physically serving up to 500 noontime meals. This volunteer role is absolutely crucial in making sure that our hungry neighbors are fed and treated with compassion and respect.
This is a perfect volunteer position for a group of 6-10 individuals who can serve on a weekday, Monday through Friday between the hours of 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This position takes place in the Daily Bread soup kitchen at the Christian Service Center, 808 W. Central Blvd, Downtown Orlando.
Our only requirement for this volunteer opportunity is kindness and respect are shown.
There are two sides to every story at the Christian Service Center. One is often an unfortunate tale of someone with nowhere to turn. The other an act of hope and grace performed by volunteers trying to make a difference.

The Christian Service Center for Central Florida, Inc., is a private nonprofit social service agency that assists hurting families in Central Florida with compassion through programs designed to meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs, regardless of race, religion or gender. The Christian Service Center has served millions of clients since its inception in 1971, and operates from three locations: downtown Orlando, West Orange County and Winter Park.
