We never know when or where the next disaster will strike but for more than 100 years, The Salvation Army has been there to help pick up the pieces. We cannot do it without the support of dedicted volunteers who serve as Emgerency Disaster Response volunteers. If you are intererested in helping The Salvation Army, we invite you attend our next Introduction to Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services training on Tuesday, March 13, 8am-Noon at 1130 Hampton Avenue, 63139.

This free course is designed for new disaster workers who have limited disaster experience and who have just begun their association with The Salvation Army's emergency disaster services program. The course provides participants with an overview of The Salvation Army's mission and its role within disaster work. Participants will also be taught how to prepare and equip themselves for a disaster deployment.
