The SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) Program provides Medicare education and counseling assistance that is free, unbiased, and confidential to Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers.
In 2013, SHINE volunteers in our area volunteered over 5,400 hours of service to provide one-on-one counseling to over 5,500 consumers. Join the SHINE team of volunteers, and make a real difference in the lives of seniors and disabled adults in your community.

Description
Your Aging & Disability Resource Center is a dynamic, private, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving seniors, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers. Your Aging & Disability Resource Center/Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Inc. is the leader of the Aging Network in Planning and Service Area 9 which includes Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties.
Professional, dedicated staff is available to help in English, Spanish and Creole.
Let’s face it: life gets a bit more complicated as we get older; it’s good to know where to turn.
