As new clientele come in to our facility hoping to use our food bank, we screen each new client for household and income documentation and then provide referral services to help them try to manage difficult situations in their life. If you have social work, customer service or even administrative skills, you may a good fit as a Client Intake Volunteer!
Volunteers in this area must be senstitive to clients struggling with lifestyle challenges and also must be able to commit to confidentiality. Ideally, these volunteers will be very personable and will also be able to learn a simple computer database for data entry. Volunteers must know or be willing to learn about social services and resources in the Ogden-Weber area in order to make referrals.

Description
At Catholic Community Services we provide emergency food assistance through our food pantry, rental assistance and case management services and we provide baby layettes to low-income mothers. We serve over 50,000 individuals each year who are struggling to meet their basic needs, and lately as many as 2,000 households come through our pantry every month. Catholic Community Services of Northern Utah has been an active and integral part of the northern Utah Community since 1982.
