The Nashua Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) will run 7 household hazardous waste collection events this year. These events provide an opportunity for residents to properly dispose of everyday household items that are harmful to human health and the environment. NRPC depends on volunteers to help run these collections. No experience is needed and volunteers do not come in contact with household hazardous waste. Volunteer duties include greeting participants, distributing surveys and educational materials, and traffic control.
