A local adult learning program is seeking volunteers to work with the underserved local adult population through programs for English as a Second Language, Citizenship Preparation and GED Test Preparation. Would you like to be a tutor (we can train you), or help to grow our program by filling the many other volunteer positions we have? Meet new people, learn new skills, share your knowledge and experience. If you have a desire to serve, we have a place for you.

The mission of the Green Valley - Sahuarita Volunteer Clearinghouse is to place volunteers with organizations that need their help.
Description
The Green Valley - Sahuarita Volunteer Clearinghouse was created to promote volunteerism in the Green Valley - Sahuarita Arizona area. The Clearinghouse works with 50 organizations, referring volunteers to them and helping them recruit and retain volunteers. The Clearinghouse was created under the auspices of the Pima Council on Aging, the Green Valley Council, and the Joyner Green Valley Library. It is staffed by volunteers and is led by an active advisory board. the Clearinghouse annually sponsors a "Volunteer Showcase."
