LearningQuest, an adult literacy program for Stanislaus County, needs adults 18 years and older to assist in teaching reading, writing and math skills to people living in Oakdale, CA, who want to improve their skills so they can read to their child, fill out an employment application, read a newspaper or book or get their GED. We ask for a commitment of six months and for the tutor to meet with the student two-three times a week for 90 minutes each time. A six hour training will be provided.
