Description
Care Ring offers the following comprehensive program and services:
Physicans Reach Out program: In partnership with the Mecklenburg County Medical Society and the Charlotte Dental Society, 1600 volunteer physicians, dentists and allied health providers provide free or low-cost healthcare for low-income indivduals who do not qualify for Medicaid and do not have access to private health insurance.
The Care Ring Low-Cost Clinic in uptown Charlotte is a solution for the uninsured who can afford modest office visit fees. Low-cost lab work is conducted on site. The clinic is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm for non-emergency appointments.
Nurse-Family Partnership is a national model, evidenced-based nurse home-visiting program that improves the health and well-being of first-time, low-income mothers and their children.
