ORGANIZATION: Turning Points

State of the Art Laundry

Do you have a week day free? If Yes, why not bring a friend and join the Turning Points volunteer community and help in the laundry area.

We need 6 very special volunteers who can receive, wash, dry, fold and re-bag client clothing in the Turning Points "State of Art" Laundry Facility. Additionally, you are assigned to keep the laundry area clean and orderly while making sure that all laundry is done before next day pick up.

As a laundry volunteer, you work closely with the Day Resource Intake volunteers, under the supervision of the Day Resource Manager.

This is one of the few volunteer opportunity where you set the pace and enjoy the down time with a good book, music or conversation. We have a fully equipped laundry facility, with new washers and dryers, which makes this a volunteer friendly area.

For more information, please contact Tonya Kida, Volunteer Coordinator at tkida@tpmanatee.org or visit the Turning Points website www.TPManatee.org and Facebook.com/TurningPointsFL and learn more about what a special place Turning Points is.
