International Professors Project is a worldwide organization focused on the long-term development of a new type of professor. International Professors are ambassadors of internationally-oriented education to the developing world. They volunteer on the ground and virtually within an interconnecting network of professionals and students.

We are currently seeking social media enthusiasts to be part of our Social Media Ambassadors team. The Social Media Ambassador is the voice of the organization in all of our social media channels and will play a big role in reflecting the IPP brand to the world. You will report and work alongside the Social Media Coordinator to execute all planned social media efforts as well as providing strategic feedback and input to continuously improve our social media presence and reach.

Position Responsibilities :

Serve as a spokesperson for IPP and actively engage users in all online communities, including but not limited to social media sites, community forums and blogs

Produce content on all social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, blogs, forums and official corporate website.

Moderate comments and respond to community feedback and questions to maintain a positive interaction

Increase awareness of IPP and its projects through various social media campaigns, such as creative writing initiatives and viral videos etc

Generate engaging editorial content around IPP projects, the organization, educational topic/news and any other relevant field to drive discussions and create a presence online

Build a relationship with the community creating active readers and a core fan group

Propose and execute activities and programs to strengthen online community ties and acquire new fans and followers Participate in discussions on relevant websites and forums

Position Requirements :

Interest in the educational field

Proactive and passionate about social media who love tweeting, blogging, facebooking, tumbling and youtubing

Must have a thorough understanding of Facebook, fan pages, Twitter, Tumblr, and using tools such as hootsuite and tweetdeck and pulling analytical data from them.

An avid blogger and or have connections in the online industry

Familiar with writing and creating online creative.

Have the ability to communicate clearly with your peers and leaders and present findings in the form of recommendations.
