Tour Guide Volunteers conduct educational tours of our animal compound for groups of all ages. They provide guests with information about the animals at our facility, our history, our goals, and our positions and values.
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum time commitment: at least two tours (approximately 4 hours each shift) per month.
- Skills required: must be able to conduct a walking tour lasting 1 to 2 hours. Must be comfortable speaking to groups of 20 to 30 people, and comfortable handling cash and credit cards.

Vision
Carolina Tiger Rescue is working toward the day when:
- wildcats are not owned by individuals as pets
- wildcats are not used for entertainment purposes
- no trade exists for wildcats or their parts
- all wildcats prosper in sustainable, native habitats
Purpose
To achieve our mission, Carolina Tiger Rescue:
- rescues wildcats
- provides lifelong sanctuary for wildcats
- educates the public about the plight of wildcats in captivity and in the wild
- conducts non-invasive research to further understand and aid wildcats
- advocates for action to maintain wildcats in sustainable native habitats, or when that is not a viable option, for the respectful, humane treatment of them in captivity.
