CUMAC needs help inventorying and testing household items for our Community Closet. If you've got the skill, help is also needed assembling furniture. This opportunity is ideal for groups of 4-6, but if an individual is able to make a regular commitment we would be happy to train you.
Once inventoried, items are offered at no-cost to victims of disaster, women leaving domestically abusive situations and others in instances of extreme need. What isn't given away is sold at a nominal fee, providing an affordable shopping alternative for those moving toward self-sufficiency. All proceeds directly support our efforts to feed people and change lives.
This project is open as a one-time, weekly, bi-monthly or regular opportunity and is a guaranteed fun and rewarding way to help the community!
