Share the gift of you--a caring heart and healing hands. Become a hospice volunteer through Grace Healthcare Services. Offer compassion, comfort, companionship, hand holding, music, a listening ear, a gentle touch & a calm and caring presence. Homes and facilities throughout New Jersey. All ages welcome--young volunteers and youth groups can help with entertainment or crafts projects. Knitting groups can donate blankets, lapghans, shawls, especially needed in winter months. Those with a background in Reiki, massage therapy or reflexology as well as Certified pet therapists are very welcome. Become a part of the team which gives these patients end of life care and preserves their dignity.

Description
VMC provides volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups of all ages through our affiliation with over 500 not-for-profits, schools and government entities. VMC goes beyond matching to educating volunteers. Professional development is offered to volunteer managers, agency boards, and individuals wishing to serve on a not-for-profit board of directors. Business partnerships enable us to assist them in planning and executing volunteer projects. In addition, outreach and senior services are offered through friendly visiting and telephone reassurance programs.
