Food Tent at HMEA's 14th Annual Walk/Run

Help our event run smoothly by assisting with the set up, take down and distribution of food to all participants at our 14th Annual 5k Walk/Run. Food includes hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, water, juice, chips & snacks. You'll need to be able to adapt to a fast paced food line - have a smile and be outgoing! Great opportunity for a group to work together!

HMEA’s service area extends to over 110 communities in the Commonwealth’s Central, Southeastern and Eastern regions. We have a long history of providing innovative services in school, at work, at home and in the community and HMEA now serves nearly 3,800 children and adults with developmental disabilities. All proceeds from this event directly benefit our programs and services.

Description

HMEA's Administrative Office is located in Franklin, MA, but our service area extends to over 110 communities in the State's Central, Southeastern and Eastern regions. We have a long history of providing innovative services in school, at work, at home and in the community and HMEA now serves 2,400 children and adults with developmental disabilities.

The following service offerings are individually designed to meet the unique needs of each person served and their family:

  • Family Supports
  • Residential Services
  • Day Services

Services are comprehensive, timely, cost effective and of high quality. We are proud of our competent, committed and caring staff and how we celebrate its diversity. Staff receive the training that they need to do their jobs well and experience an on-going opportunity for professional growth and advancement.
