Angel Path’s Therapy provides Hippotherapy for clients who have physical and mental disabilities, or those who experience developmental delays. Hippotherapy is a treatment strategy that utilizes the multidimensional movement of a horse. Specially trained therapists use many different activities on the horse to assist the client to meet their treatment goals. We are seeking volunteers to help lead horses for therapy sessions on Mondays between 9:00am and 1:00 pm and Wednesdays between 9:00am and 3:00pm. Each therapy session lasts for one hour. This also includes grooming of the horses. You can lead one session or more. It is very exciting and quiet rewarding to see the progress which occurs in the development of our special participants. Volunteers are extremely important to the successful operation of our program. We could not function without our volunteers. Please contact us at (505)553-1208 to volunteer and learn more about our program.
