The National Kidney Foundation Walk committee is an opportunity for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to get involved with planning the Kidney Walk in Des Moines in April 2017.
We have many roles to fill on the walk committee and are looking for the right people to fill them! If you are experienced with planning a walk or other events, working with donors or sponsors, managing volunteers or teams, planning activities or logistics, or simply dedicated to help make a great event happen, we want to hear from you!
No prior experience is necessary, nor is any connection to Kidney Disease. We are looking for helpful & active individuals to join our great cause! Please reach out to us today if you are interested in assisting!

The National Kidney Foundation is the major voluntary health organization dedicated to preventing kidney disease, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by kidney disease and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation.
Description
The National Kidney Foundation offers free health screenings for kidney disease, public and professional education programs, advocacy to make patients' voices heard through legislative action, and a vital research program to identify new clinical treatments. The NKF achieves life-saving results today through the contributions of a generous public including participation in NKF signature initiatives such as Kidney Cars Vehicle Donation program, Kidney Walks, and the NKF Golf Classic.
