We need your compassion and generosity! Our volunteers are assigned one of our hospice patients to visit a couple of hours 2 to 4 times a month. Some patients need someone to talk to, share memories with, spend a pleasant hour with. Some patients need someone to sit with them while their caregiver takes a couple of hours away. We will place you with a patient near your home and that you are comfortable with. We will provide a comprehensive orientation and "hold your hand" every step of the way. Come be a part of our family and we can help so many people together. Please call Sabra at Silverado Hospice (281) 397-8800 and include your phone number so we can contact you. We follow CDC guidelines and if a patient has a contagious symptom, we do not allow volunteers to visit.

Our agency helps individuals and their families cope with a terminal diagnosis and end of life decisions. We provide RN's, LVN's, CNA's, Social workers, and Chaplain's, as well as volunteer services to help our patients and their families.
