Many opportunities are available to include:

Administrative, data entry, phones, messages, scheduling (Mon thru Friday morning or afternoons flexible)
Recovering Animals after surgery (Tue/Wed/Thu - morning or afternoons)
Surgical Assistant, assist with surgeries, learn/train to be a Veterinary Technician (Tue/Wed/Thu - morning or afternoons)
Check in or Check out (Tue/Wed/Thu - 7:30 to 9:00 am and/or 3:30 to 5:00 pm)
Surgical Packs (clean disinfect and sterilize surgical instruments) (Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu - flexible times)

3 Shifts

  • morning / 09:00 AM to 11:45 AM
    Tuesdays - Wednesdays & Thursdays
  • afternoon / 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM
    Tuesdays - Wednesdays & Thursdays
  • afternoon / 03:00 PM to 04:45 PM
    Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

The Fox Valley Animal Welfare League, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to caring for and promoting the adoption of lost, unwanted and abused companion animals. We advocate for the compassionate and humane treatment of these animals by implementing programs promoting the reduction of pet overpopulation and responsibility among pet owners and children in the community. We adhere to the highest ethical standards and are dedicated to creating a community environment that eliminates the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals.

Description

Established in 1946, the Fox Valley Animal Welfare League has been providing support and varied services to animals within the Fox Valley community. We currently operate a high-volume low-cost spay/neuter clinic that opened in 2012 and serves northern Illinois as well as clients from Wisconsin and Indiana.
