We are excited to invite you to participate in our annual Fight For Air Climb. This prestigious event is the largest American Lung Association fundraising event in Michigan. Our participants are passionate in supporting healthy air and clean lungs for everyone. We need your help to make this special day a success. The American Lung Association is seeking devoted people who can volunteer on February 26, 2017 at the Renaissance Center in Downtown Detroit. We need volunteers to help the day of the event fulfilling duties such as registration table assistants and start line monitors. Join our group! Log on to ClimbDetroit.org and create a volunteer account by clicking "Participant Login". By becoming a volunteer, you will be provided with all of the information to make the Climb a success (not to mention the pride you will have knowing that you are helping your community have access to clean air). Thank you so much for your support. With help from caring people like you, we are able to offer fundraising events that help millions of people who are affected by lung disease. Please call me at (248) 220-5216 if you have any questions, I look forward to seeing you on February 26!

Mission Statement
The mission of the American Lung Association is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
Description
For more than 115 years, Americans have trusted us to protect their lungs, whether it's researching treatments and cures for lung diseases, keeping kids off tobacco, including e-cigarettes, or advocating for laws that protect the air we all breathe.
Our goals are big-defeat lung cancer, create a tobacco-free future, champion clean air for all, and improve the quality of life for those living with lung disease.
Because when you can't breathe, nothing else matters.
