Become a friend of the Center for Family & Child Enrichment - volunteer. We are seeking volunteers who are willing to assist the Agency in caring for needy children and families. This can be achieved in a variety of ways, including volunteering to tutor and mentor youth, serving on a board committee to help plan and organize events, donating money or time to help with needs of children, and much more. Some of our Friends belong to other organizations, such as fraternities, sororities, or church groups and get together to organize holiday parties or gift baskets for our children and families. Whatever your interest, WE NEED YOU!

Description
The Center for Family and Child Enrichment Inc. is a private nonprofit community based organization that serves children in foster care who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned; children with severe emotional disturbances and in need of mental health care; The Center for Family and Child enrichment has been enriching the lives of children and families for over thirty years. Each year, our services touch the lives of over 3,000 children and familuies throughout Miami Dade County. We contract with the lead agency for community based care to provide foster care and related services to nearly 1,000 children, including adoptions, residential group care, in home family counseling and a variety of other services designed to achieve permanency for these children. We offer a wide array of behavioral health services for children and adolescents.
