Drivers transport elderly homebound clients to doctors appointment and medical treatment. Drivers use their own vehicle for this program and receive mileage reimbursement if requested. Scheduling of trips is at the convenience of the volunteer.

Our mission is to assist older adults in maintaining and/or improving their social, economic,health,saftey,and nutritional status. We seek to secure and maintain maximum independence and dignity for older persons. We ensure a network of supportive services to assist the County's residents age 60 and older and their caregivers;advocates for the elderly before government and private agencies.
Description
We operate 5 senior centers in Greene Countywere meals are served 5 days. We provide meals to Homebound Elderly five days a week. We operate a Homebound Medical Transportation Program, providing rides to medical appointments and treatments.
