Compeer matches volunteers with people in mental health treatment to create supportive friendships. The Skillbuilder program offers short term classes for those on the waiting list. Volunteer leaders set the number of classes, material taught, length of each class, date, time and number of students. Computers are available for students to use. Schedule classes at your convenience.

• Some experience leading a creative writing group. (Teaching credential is not required.) An interest in working with people who may otherwise be isolated and lonely. Patience and a caring heart.
