Description

Pacifica Gardens
(Saturdays, March-November) 10 am-2 pm
830 Rosita Road, behind Linda Mar Education Center.

Saturdays between Feburary and October are workdays at Pacifica Gardens, a biointensive sustainable cooperative gardening project in the heart of Pacifica. Our community organization is transforming an old soccer field into a mini-agricultural project on land generously leased by the Pacifica School District. Our mission is to Educate, Cultivate, and Inspire.

Pacifica Gardens, a project of Pacifica's Environmental Family, currently has 41 vegetable beds, 6 native plant/herb beds, 2 flower beds and 20 fruit trees. In addition, our talented and resourceful volunteers reassembled a donated greenhouse and built 8 composters from reclaimed lumber last season. Join us as we being our second growing season in our expanding project! Everyone is welcome.
