We need volunteers to crochet and knit (we supply materials) for our hospice patients, Choose small lap blankets, shawls, booties, hats, scarfs or even mitten to keep cold hands warm while indoors.

Compassionate Care Hospice believes patients are entitled to live as fully and as comfortably as possible. We provide palliative care to reduce pain and control symptoms. Our program provides the following services based on each patient's individual needs: Physician Care Nursing Care Social Work Services Spiritual Counseling Volunteer Support Nutritional Counseling Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy Assistance with Personal Care, meals and light housework Medication to alleviate symptoms Oxygen, medical equipment and supplies 24-hour at-home care during a crisis Short-term respite care Short-term acute inpatient care Bereavement support and grief counseling Supplemental support for nursing home residents Holistic comfort care including massage, Reike, pet therapy, art, muscle and aromatherapy
