The U`jana Conley Foundation for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) is a nonprofit organization was founded to raise money for SIDS research and support services and raise public awareness. We are beginning our public awareness campiagn, "Bedtime equals backtime" in collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In order to raise awareness and build relationships, we need an intern that will help the U`jana Conley Foundation for SIDS and the public adapt mutually to each other; improve communication; and help establish and maintain cooperative relationships with the representatives of the community, public interest groups, and with representatives from print and broadcast journalism. The intern will help to inform the general public, interest groups and stockholders of the foundation's policies, activities, and accomplishments. Further responsibilities will be to draft press releases and contact people in the media. Finally, this person will research needes information.
